Bake & Take is a cake mix brand designed to help push back loneliness by encouraging meaningful social connection through baking. Participants use a Bake & Take kit to bake at home, then bring their creations to local events hosted by the brand, where they can share cakes and form friendships. The main brand assets are the oven gloves, calling back to happier times with a mother or grandmother's baking, in a safe and comfortable environment. The gloves feature different patterns and colours to represent a coming together of people from all walks of life, and that anyone is welcome to a Bake and Take event, regardless of who they are. The brand colours and tone are warm, friendly, and aim to position Bake & Take as a welcoming, inclusive and approachable brand. This is a university project completed in my final year.
